After several books about true crime, archaeology, and his abstract thoughts, Michael Bouchard has written a new fictional book about a serial killer stalking a town in Maine (USA)and the search for some secret notes from inventor Nikola Tesla that could hold serious secrets and hope for humanity.
When it comes to sports there are generational players that define an era. Lebron James is considered one of the greatest ball players of all time and the best of the last ten years. If there is any other player that could give James a run for being the best in the game now, is Kevin Durant.
Despite being a world champion and a League Most Valuable Player, Durant is also known for his social media feuds with celebrities such as Michael Rappaport, Shannon Sharpe and just random “twitter idiots”. He may be a beast on the court he is known to be very sensitive to criticism.
However, he is human like everyone else and he suffers tragedy as well. On MArch 21st 2019, then 32 year old Clifford Dixon was shot and killed in the parking lot of the SL Lounge bar located at the 4000 block of Buford Highway around 1:15 am in the town of Chamblee, Georgia near the city of the Atlanta. Dixon was a close friend of Durant who at one time was taken in by Durant’s mother and lived with them. Dixon would go on to college baseketball at Western KEntucky and have professional stints in sport leagues in several countries before retiring. He was also the real life boyfriend of Erica MEan who was a castmember of show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” where Dixon also appeared on screen.
Clifford Dixon
The early morning of his murder, video shows a man wearing hoodie waiting around in the parking lot until Dixon exits his vehicle. The unidentified killer runs up and shoots him several times and then flees on foot. To date there is no arrest.
The National Basketball Association in 2020 and 2021 have made police brutality and racism big issues. That includes players kneeling for the National Anthem and logos on player’s jerseys and on the courts. Players even postponed a game by walking out after Jacob Blake was shot by several police officers in Wisconsin after he resisted arrest while having a knife in his possession.
However, questions remain about the NBA and it’s players when it comes to other violence. Dixon was likened to as an “adoptive brother” of Kevin Durant. Yet, there is little said about black on black violence by NBA players on social media and in the press. Durant is a multi millionaire, yet no where on any internet search can I find a reward being offered by him for the murder of Clifford Dixon. There are so many murders unsolved such as Opelika Doe, James Lee Jacobs, Robert Hollis, or the disappearance of Asha Degree that could use attention from sport celebrities and actors. Even rewards help out greatly.
According to one of the links (second) below, Dixon’s mother was starting a GoFundme page to help raise a reward to identify and arrest Clifford’s killer. A search of GoFundMe reveals no account for Clifford Dixon. One has to wonder why Durant can’t just offer the reward himself. Not making accusations that he had anything to do with this crime but with all his millions of dollars, why can’t Durant put up a $100,000 for his “Adopted Brother”.
So for now, Clifford Dixon’s murder remains unsolved, if you have any information please contact the Chamblee police at 770-986-5005.
Sure it sounds good. Wrap your car up to advertise a product and get paid for just driving around. Sometimes they are legitimate business opportunities. But beware that scammers will try to get you to pay upfront for the advertisment and disappear with your money. Here is an example how not to fall for these crooks…… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwjX7PugV-M
Gun rights and Black Lives Matter and the organization that supports them. But questions remain as to how much high level executives of these groups make? Wayne Lapierre the chief executive of the NRA sure enjoyed his time on some yachts (not owned by him) and Carribean resorts according to this New York Times article by Danny Hakim. Meanwhile the nearly one hundred and fifty year old organiztion has filed for bankruptcy.
There are many questions as to how money is spent in organizations whether political or religious. One only has to look back at many of the disgraced Christian evangelists such as Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggert.
People have the right to make money in these organizations, but the vast majority of that money should go to helping those in need and serviced, not filling the pockets of those that need it the least.
DNA taken from Luis Colon Jr. revealed that his aunt who went missing in the mid seventies was indeed the pregnant unidentified murder victim found dismembered in three suitcases and dumped near the Lehigh River in Carbon County, Pennsylvania in 1976 and given the name Beth Doe. She was fifteen year old Evelyn Colon from Jersey City. After her identification was secured, her ex-boyfriend, 63 year old Luis Sierra (who was 19 years old at the time of the murder). A sad outcome indeed but at least Sierra will face some justice before he dies. It is possible that Sierra could be responsible for other crimes.
Sadly, there are men & some women (Cardi B. anybody) that will drug unsuspecting people to rape and rob them. Sadly, here is another case of a woman being drugged, robbed, raped and eventually found dead in the bed where assailants abused her. It’s been said many times, be careful who you go with by yourself. Watch your drinks at a bar or at someone’s house. Don’t trust someone you don’t know giving you a drink. Pour your own beverage. This stuff is way more common than we think and know…. It’s not just Bill Cosby.
The Maldives are a nation of numerous small islands located in the Indian Ocean south of the country of India. With a population of just over a half a million residents, its many small islands are home to numerous villas and resorts in what many consider to be a tropical paradise. The Maldives in general have a very low crime rate but an Al Jazeera investigation revealed massive amounts of corruption. Maldives Journalist Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla, vanished on August 7th, 2014 and was allegedly kidnapped into a car at knifepoint outside his residence on the island of Hulhumale. One rumor suggested that a group associated with Al-Qaeda killed the journalist because of his liberal views in the moderately religious Islamic nation. However, evidence from various independent investigations reveal that Rilwan Abdulla was killed on orders by the highest members of the Maldives leadership due to his work on exposing government corruption. To date, his remains have not been found and no one has been charged in his murder. https://timesofaddu.com/2021/03/08/full-investigative-report-of-rilwans-case-will-be-complete-this-year-president-solih/

Doctor Dre is a rap legend. From his stint as a member of the rap group N.W.A, to his time as a producer/artist with superstar rapper Snoop Dogg. The man is worth in the 820 million dollars according to this site. While Dre has endured his fair share of trouble, arrests for beating up women is one the more common ones, he has suffered his fair share of tragedy. He has lost children (Andre Young Jr) to a drug overdose as well a brother to pneumonia when he was a toddler. But there is one death that has perhaps impacted him the most, the 1989 murder of his younger brother Tyree Du-sean Crayon .
Crayon who was 21 years old was killed in a fight after a physical altercation when he was knocked to the ground and sustained traumatic injuries near Crenshaw Avenue in Compton. There is so little information about this case in the media, we here at Savagewatch don’t even know if the murder has ever been solved. So we made several phone calls to various Law Enforcement agencies in the Golden State and pretty much still have no answers.
We tried the headquarters of the Los Angeles Sheriff Department. No record of the homicide. We tried the Los Angeles Police Department Cold Case Unit, not their case and no record. Told it was most likely in Compton. We could have tried the Compton Police Department but they were disbanded around 2000 due to massive amounts of corruption and misconduct. We tried the Compton Unit of the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department but they didn’t know or handle the case because it was supposed to be under the jurisdiction of the Compton Police Department (which was disbanded 11 years after Tyree Crayon’s murder). Despite talking to several administrative workers in various state offices that held criminal records and some of them actually knowing who Doctor Dre was, we still got no answers as to the status of the investigation. Is the case lost in some file with no agency able to work it due to jurisdiction questions? The big question continues to remain, was Tyree’s murder ever solved?
If this case is unsolved it brings forth a disturbing reality that if someone killed whose family member is worth nearly a billion dollars is not getting justice, what about those who are not famous and live below the poverty line.
Dre and his group NWA are most famous for their anti-law enforcement anthem “F-ck the Police”. One has to wonder if indifference to this case is the police shouting back.
