Mines and Mysteries is a youtube channel that explores Mines from across North America. It is a well done series that should be on cable but is not. The explorers go into places that have not human contact in centuries. Here they explore a colonial legend about a murder and look to see where the victim may have died.

Forty Five years later a family has answers as to what happened to their son, brother and uncle. Francis Wayne Alexander has been identified as one of Gacy’s earlier victims in his killing spree. Five more victims remain nameless but hope persists they too will be identified.

There were suspects early on in the in 2002 murder of University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill student Faith Hedgepeth in her off campus apartment. Police had questioned the ex-boyfriend of her roommate as being a person with motive. But it turns out DNA evidence left behind pointed to someone that was not a suspect early on in the investigation.

John Brisker played tough on and off the court. No stranger to fisticuffs, few people would try to test him in a fight. The University of Toldeo graduate played for several teams in the (defunct) American Basketball Association and the National Basketball Association. After leaving basketball, he formed an import-export business and would travel overseas. He was last heard from in the country of Uganda which was ruled by the ruthless leader Idi Amin. Amin was responsible for over three hundred thousand of murders. Did Brisker actually meet the dreaded dictator or did he run afoul of other people in Amin’s government?

The Hoosac Tunnel in Northwestern Massachusetts is a 4.75 mile tunnel that goes through a small mountain range. Construction began on the project in 1851 and completed in 1875 creating a link to the cities of Albany, New York and Boston, Massachusetts. At the time of it’s completion it was one of the longest underground tunnels in the world and is still in use today as several trains use it daily.

However, the tunnel has a tragic past in that nearly two hundred men died during the construction of it. Accidents included explosions, drownings, deadly fumes, tunnel collapses missing persons and even an unsolved murder. The place had so much death it was nicknamed “The Bloody Pit”. Even after it’s construction around 35 people have died since. There have also been reports of people hearing the cries of the dead as well as seeing apparitions and ghosts. One man even reported how he believes a ghost warned him and saved his life from being hit by a train.

Tony Atlas is a former bodybuilder turned proffesional wrestler who during his prime was one of the industries biggest names. Atlas was so strong, he would military press his opponents above his head before he body slammed them to the mat of the wrestling ring.

In interviews since his retirement he has talked about many of the darker aspects of Pro Wrestling, including how he tried to help save fellow friend Bruiser Brody’s life after he was stabbed several times by a promoter/wrestler in Puerto Rico. Here in this clip below which must be viewed on youtube, Atlas talks about how he witnessed pro wrestlers gang raping women and specifically refers to one famous star violating women and giving them life changing injuries.
