It was a brazen murder on the morning of December 4th, 2024 outside the Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan, New York City (USA). United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was walking outside the hotel before a major meeting of the company, when a semi masked gunman wearing a hoodie approached him from behind and shot him several times. Thompson would die from his injuries and the gunman escaped. Police believe the above photo is that of his killer. The double murder of 18-year-old Theresa Marcoux and 20-year-old Mark Harnish on November 19th 1978 in the town of West Springfield, Massachusetts off of route 5. An arrest has been made and 71 year old  Timothy Scott Joely who resided in Clearwater, Florida and he has been charged with the murders.

She was found on the side of Interstate 95 in the state of Connecticut in the town of Westport in May of 1985. Her body burned and found on some tires on the side of the highway. DNA Testing has now revealed her to be 33 year old  Barbara Heyward Manners. Her killer(s), to date have yet to be indentified.

Charles and Catherine Romer were an older couple from Scarsdale, New York that had been vacation in Georgia when they disappeared in April 1980. They and their vehicle were last seen at a Holiday Inn they were staying at a Holiday Inn in Glynn County. Recently, a vehicle matching that of retired couple was pulled out of a pond near the hotel with two bodies inside and personal effects belonging to them. Law Enforcement believes the couple most likely died in a tragic accident.

Seventy four year old Noel McGregor served the city of Hartford, Connecticut (USA) in two several roles. Most notably was a Police officer and then as the Town and City Clerk up to his death. On October 22nd, he was standing outside his car which had broken down on Route Two west in the town of Colchester when a Jeep Cherokee went into the shoulder of the highway and hit him. Law Enforcement is seeking the suspect vehicle, which is said to be a true blue pearl color. They believe the Jeep Cherokee is likely a 2015 to 2023 model. McGregor died around a month after he sustained life altering injuries.

NOTE: I had met Mr. McGregor many times while he was town clerk and had talked to him once about some of the unsolved cases in the city. I did not ever think that his death would be an unsolved case. Hopefully, justice finds the person(s) responsible soon.

It has always been my policy on this website to never charge people who want a case on this website. We do take donations for the site and do have ads as well. But the last two months has seen a decrease in ad revenue by almost 99 percent. From a few dollars a month to a few cents. When contacting customer service they say they will look into it and nothing is done. Views have not gone down. Why is this happening. Revenue earned from the ads help pay for the maintenance and hosting of the site. One has to wonder if they don’t like some of the minor political content or they view the content as violent. Or perhaps someone who may have a connection to a case on here has complained to wordpress itself and this in retalation for the complaint. I don’t know… All I know is the small amount of revenue that came from the ads helped out.

Morgan Nick’s disappearance in June of 1995 in Arkansas has haunted her family and community for years. Now Law Enforcement is closer to finding out who her killer is with DNA evidence. It points to a now deceased Billy Jack Lincks as being the person responsible for her disappearance and likely murder. He had been questioned early in the investigation due to him trying to sexually solicit a young child. Morgan still remains missing but Police have more reason to search areas familiar to the child predator.

Rumors about the sexual and physical abuse of Music Mogul/Rapper Sean Combs had circulated for years on youtube channels by black journalists and vloggers. The mainstream media as usual didn’t talk about these allegations which is not unsual. Once a lawsuit by Comb’s ex girlfriend and singer Cassie Ventura came to light, “Puff” quickly settled out of court. It would be too late for Combs as other lawsuits filed in and stories made it to mainstream media publications and television outlets. A video would be released showing “Puffy” chasing and assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel that occurred while they were dating. At that point, the public knew that it was likely that the stories of physical abuse were real. Puff Daddy would eventually be arrested and charged with Racketeering Conspiracy, Sex Trafficking and Transportation to Engage in Prostitution.

Now, word on independent black media,is that Sean Carter better known as the Rapper Jay Z (and the husband of superstar singer Beyonce) has his own cemetery in his closet. An old story is now circulating about how a woman who had been involved with Jay Z and allegedly pregnant with his child died under questionable circumstances. Whether this is true or that Jay Z has done criminal activity has not been proven. But the streets talk and now their gossip doesn’t just stay there…. it goes on social media and the net.

It was the day of Halloween in 1969, in the town of Oscada, Michigan (USA), when two teenaged girls were last seen alive. Patricia Spencer and Pamela Hobley both left their high school early after a bomb threat spooked the students and teachers at the school that day. Family members and Police believe both girls were murdered. No suspects have been named and a former boyfriend of one of the girls is alleged to have disappeared himself a year or so after the two went missing. It is not know if that is related to the case.

Police in New York City (USA) are still trying to find who the parents are of a newborn baby whose partial remains were found in a wasterwater plant Hunts Point Water Treatment Control Plant on Ryawa Avenue in Hunts Point in the Bronx borough of New York City on August 31, 2022. Law Enforcement says the remains belonged to a newborn girl. It has not been determined if the baby’s death was a homicide. But someone took measures to dismember and discard the baby in a very cruel way.
