Her fifteen year old son would 41 year old Stacey Burns murdered at her home in the Wolfboro, New Hampshire (USA) in May of 2009 on Mother’s Day. She was a school nurse and despite thousands of hours of police work, her killer remains elusive.

Her torso was found in a plastic case in Hempstead Lake PArk in the Long Island section of New York (USA) in 1997. Additional remains of hers would be found more than a decade later in the Gilgo Beach area of Long Island where the bodies of several other women were found. One of the bodies found was that of a toddler girl which DNA evidence woul prove to be the daughter of the unidentified victim known as “PEaches” due to tattoo of a peach on her chest.
Enforcement on April 23, 2025 announced that “Peaches” was in fact a military veteran named Tonya Denise Jackson originally from Alabama. Her two year old daughter was Tatiana Marie Dykes.
Rex Heuermann has been arrested for several of the murders of victims of Gilgo Beach and is the prime suspect in the homicides of Jackson and Dykes. There is still a $25,000 reward for information related to their slayings.
Chris Arsenault suffered a tragedy years ago when his twenty four year old son died in a motorcycle accident. The Long Island, New York man channelled his grief into creating a cat sanctuary on his residential property where he had over hundreds of cats that were feral or abandoned. On MArch 31st, a suspicious fire broke out in his house and Chris valiantly tried to save cats from the flame. Eventually he would succumb to the fire as well as hundreds of cats who died as well. Chris had allegedly made enemies due to the sanctuary on his property. He was also in the process of moving many of the cats up to a farm property in update New York where there would be more room to roam for the felines. The United States Department of State is offering a reward of up to $15 million for a woman and her three accomplices who have been accused of stealing US technology to give to Iran for almost two decades.
The person in question is Liu Baoxia, also known as Emily Liu, her three accomplices are also identified as Li Yongxin (aka Emma Lee); Yung Yiu Wa (aka Stephen Yung); and Zhong Yanlai (aka Sydney Chung).
Andrea Michelle Reyes went missing from her fathers custody back in New Haven, CT (USA) back in October of 1999. She was believed at the time to have been taken by her mother. Law Enforcement recently confirmed that she is alive and living in Mexico. She was found alive and is now 27 years old and in contact with her father. Her mother has active warrant for her arrest in the United States.

Movies were made about the monster that terrorized and killed five vulnerable women in London, England in 1888. His murders were brutal and authorities are not sure if he had additional victims. Maura Murray was a college student that attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. The twenty one year old student had gone through some stressful times and ventured north to the state of New Hampshire when she got involved in single car accident on Route 112 in North Haverhill on February 9, 2004. She had been seen by a school bus driver outside her vehicle but she would eventually disappear without a trace. Maura had been making plans in the days before to get away from the campus. Her mental health may have been troubled and wandered into the unforgiving winter of the White Mountains. However, there is also suspicion that she could have met with foul play.

UPDATE 10-21-2025 Monroe Police consider the case closed despite there being a suspect. The accused was a 14 year old juvenile at the time but due to statute of limitations, there can be no charges filed. No name has been mentioned as to who killed Renee.
The murder happened in 1977 just a few houses away from where she lived with her mother and brother in a quiet suburb of New England. Police have investigated this case for decades and believe people in town know information about the possible killer that they are not saying.

More than bad. He’s evil. Vanessa Ceja-Ramirez, 22 year old Vanessa Ceja-Ramirez had gone missing after she went on a walk with her mother in the Midlothian Meadows Forest Preserve in Illinois in November 2020. Her remains were found days later and the murder was brutal. Now, Dakota Petrey has been arrested for her murder.

Four men in New York (USA) were arrested for her murder but for thirty three years her name was a mystery to everyone. She has been identified as 30 year old Judy Rodriguez a mother of young children. She has her name back and her children know that she didn’t abandon them.
