Infamous Texas Yogurt Shops Murders has a Suspect

IT was one of state of Texas most horrific crimes. Four teenaged girls working at “I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt!” shop lost their lives on December 6th, 1991 in the city of Austin. The young ladies had been gagged and shot in the head, one had even been sexually assaulted before her death. The store was set on fire and Eliza Thomas, 17, Jennifer Harbison, 17, Sarah Harbison, 15, and Amy Ayers, 13 all were found in the horrific scene.

Public pressure mounted in trying to solve the case and four young men were eventually charged. Two were found guilty and even served time for the crime that they didn’t commit.

Decades later, a suspect has ben identified through DNA, a possible serial killer named Robert Eugene Brashers. He has been identified as a suspect in other murders but took his own life in a standoff with police back in Missouri in 1999. No worrd yet as to if Brashers had an accomplice in this terrible crime.

More Than 50 Years Later Suspect in Case Arrested for Murder….

Janet Couture was a young 21 year old woman living alone in the small city of East Hartford, Connecticut (USA) when someone murdered her in the apartment she rented in October of 1973. Police arrested 77 year old George LEgere for the brutal murder. He had already been serving a 25 year old prison sentence from 2021 related to a brutal sexual assault and attack on a woman in 1984 in the town of Avon, Connecticut. No word yet, if Legere is responsible for other crimes but in the late 1960’s to late 1970’s the town of Vernon and surrounding areas were hit by several missing person and murders of girls and young women. According to an article by the Associated Press, Legere was a College Graduate with a MAsters Degree from UCLA. Last Unidentified Victim of Bear Brook Murders finally Identified

The murders shook New Hampshire for decades. Two decayed barrels found fiteen years apart and located hundreds of feet from each other contained a deadly secret. The bodies of a grown woman and three children. DNA testing would later confirm that the adult female was the mother of two of the children. The third child would be identified through her father, a convicted murderer named Terry Rasmussen. The mother and her two daughters would be identified as Marlyse Honeychurch, and two her daughters, Sarah McWaters and Marie Vaughn in 2017. Rasmussen was in a relationship with Honeychurch. Rasmussen has had other relationships with women who either disappeared or were murdered. His daughter was finally identified as Rea Rasmussen who was born in 1976 in California and her mother who is currenly missing is Pepper Reed (who was born in 1952).
