The Barbizon Hotel in New York City (USA) had visitors as well as residents that came all walks of life including many famous actresses and socialites back in the 1940s and up. Mystery surrounds not only the August 15th, 1975 murder but life of a 79 year old single woman that lived on the 11th floor at the Barbizon Hotel at 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue location. Little is known about Ruth Harding who was the victim and until recently her case was forgotten about.
