Movies were made about the monster that terrorized and killed five vulnerable women in London, England in 1888. His murders were brutal and authorities are not sure if he had additional victims. Twenty One Years later…. College Student Remains Missing near the White Mountains…

Maura Murray was a college student that attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. The twenty one year old student had gone through some stressful times and ventured north to the state of New Hampshire when she got involved in single car accident on Route 112 in North Haverhill on February 9, 2004. She had been seen by a school bus driver outside her vehicle but she would eventually disappear without a trace. Maura had been making plans in the days before to get away from the campus. Her mental health may have been troubled and wandered into the unforgiving winter of the White Mountains. However, there is also suspicion that she could have met with foul play.
