Man Goes Missing in Wildlife Area known for it’s Beauty and Murderous Past

Twenty two year old Michael Sinotte of North Kingstown went missing in the Great Swamp Management Area of South Kingstown, Rhode Island

The last time anyone saw him was June 15th,2019. The Rhode Island resident’s car a 2000 black Honda Civic with license plate DW-583 was found days later on June 18th ,2019. Sinotte had been seen on the fourteenth of June near the West Kingston Post Office, which is located at 3484 Kingstown Road.

The swamp is dangerous place to go off trail as it is reported to have quick sand, drop offs, thorn bushes, deceptive water and many mosquitos.

Sinotte is described as being around five feet, eleven inches tall as well as having a thin physique, brown eyes and sandy hair.

The Great Swamp Area also is the site of a horrible battle on December 19th 1675 between American (European) Colonists and members of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. While both sides committed atrocities against each other in a battle that was part of the King Philips War, many Narragansett women and children were brutally slaughtered in this incident has been referred to the Great Swamp Massacre. While there is no solid figure as to how many perished some historians thinks around 40 to 300 colonists and their native american allies were killed or wounded while the number of Narragansett fatalities could have been as high as 1000. The Narragansett tribe never recovered as many of their members were hunted down, killed or sold into slavery. The tribe exists today with hundreds of members while other New England tribes were less fortunate and nearly lost all their members to war and disease. For hundreds of years, visitors have reported paranormal activity at the management area and the site of the massacre has been lost to the general public. Perhaps only the Narragansetts know and rightfully wish to keep it from others.

Michael Sinotte’s family continues to look for him, they have set up a Gofundme page to help with costs of the search. https://www.gofundme.com/f/michael-sinotte-jr-missing-person-search-age-23

WPRI also did a story recently about the volunteer searches in the management area. The family and volunteers have stated that they have found a yellow bag that Sinotte brought with him at the time, a makeshift campfire, a 15-foot rope of his, and geocaches. They ask visitors to be on the lookout for any pieces of his blue sweatshirt or blue jeans. Sinotte also wore a size 13 pair of black and brown boots.  For the latest update on the case view the story from WPRI below.

One of America’s Most Notorious Sexual Predators is Given Jailhouse Justice

It is a known fact that when it comes to prison, people that victimize the elderly as well as children are considered the lowest of the low in the incarceration system. For Larry Nassar, he has been a wanted man by his fellow inmates since he was taken into custody for his sexual assault crimes against female athletes many of them under the age of 16. Nassar’s victims were some of the most famous gymnasts in the world such as Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman among others. Victims range in the several hundreds and some of them even took their own lives, partially due to what they suffered from Nassar. But Nassar was not the only one complicit. There were other people that dismissed the allegations against him or chose to ignore them. The disgraced former US Gymnastics and Michigan State doctor was stabbed several times in the Federal Correctional Complex Coleman in Central Florida by another inmate who at this time has not been named. Nassar is in stable condition but he knows that other inmates will continue to try to violently take his life. At this website we don’t encourage these types of actions, but people that do crimes like this need to know that others may take action. And in prison, there are unwritten rules that the general public are not subject to.

Another Connecticut Case Partially Solved Through DNA

In April of 1979, the partial remains of a human female skeleton were found on New Haven Water Company property which was alongside Route 34 and Derby Avenue in the town of West Haven, Connecticut (USA). IT was concluded that the woman was between 18 to 30 years old and that there was little personal effects found. It was not released to the public, if the victim was a murder or a homicide but in late June 2023, her name was finally found. Sally Tratham Abbott who was last known to be seen in New Haven in 1970. How her remains were found or if foul play was involved remain a mystery.

Reign of Terror Over Forever

He terrorized people for decades with his homemade bombs that murdered three persons and injured 23 others in several states and cities in the United States. These attacks spanned from 1978 to 1995 targeting Universities, Airlines (including flights in midair) and Computer shops to name a few. As a result of the serial bombing and the targets selected, Law Enforcement nicknamed the domestic terrorist, “The Unabomber”. In 1995, the Unabomber had a manifesto printed in the Washington Post which detailed his hatred and fear of how technology was negatively affecting humanity. A man recognized the language and views in the manifesto as that being similar to that of his recluse brother. In 1996, Ted Kaczynski was arrested and in a trial was convicted to serve a life sentence in a Federal Prison. The former Ivy League educated MAthmatics PRofessor abandoned life in the modern world and live out in a cabin in remote Montana as he crafted his bombs to kill and maim.
On June 10th, 2023, the Unabomber was found dead in his cell at the age of 81. While some agree with his views on the danger of technology and what it has done for humanity as well the planet as a whole. HE was still a ruthless killer.

Who’s Teaching Your College Kids?

College and University education is expensive. But one particular college system in New York City may have a bigger problem with how their own professors behave compared to it’s own student body. It’s time to stop tenure for college professors and screen them better for criminal inclinations. New York City seems to have quite a few bad apples in Higher Education. https://nypost.com/2023/05/27/shellyne-rodriguez-is-the-latest-example-of-nutty-cuny-hires/
